Governor Umo Eno of Akwa Ibom State mourns late CP Waheed Ayilara, demised Akwa Ibom State Commissioner of Police, in a reflection of his service to the state.

“Today, with a heavy heart, I mourn the sudden and painful passing of our State Commissioner of Police, Waheed Ayilara.

“As we reflect on his service to Akwa Ibom State, I remember him as a distinguished and dedicated officer—one of the finest in the Nigerian Police Force. He was not only a crime-buster but also a gentleman who played a critical role in keeping our state safe and secure.
“His deep involvement in our state’s security framework and his commitment to peace will forever be remembered.
“My heartfelt condolences go out to his family, the Inspector General of Police, and the entire Akwa Ibom State Police Command.
“May his soul rest in perfect peace.”
