Governor Obaseki’s convoy stuck in flood in Edo state

A video which has gone viral on social media captures the moment Governor Godwin Obaseki’s convoy got stuck on a flooded road in the state.

The incident happened on Saturday, July 22 after heavy rain reportedly fell and the convoy was trying to pass a busy road which happened to have been submerged in flood.

Residents filmed the governor’s entourage struggling to find a way to pass as everybody was trapped in traffic caused by the flood.

They called out Obaseki and other politicians for failing to do the right thing in terms of infrastructural development only for him to now be affected by the same bad road which the government refused to fix for long.
