It was a historic celebration for Global Plus Publishing, one of the largest printing presses in Nigeria and the official printers of the No.1 best-selling daily devotional, Rhapsody of Realities, as it unveils a newly acquired Ecoline Manugraph Web Printing Machine on Friday 14th of June 2024, at its head office in Oregun, Ikeja, Lagos State.
At a well attended media parley at the corporate headquarters of the company in Oregun, Lagos, Chairman of GPP, esteemed Pastor Yemisi Kudehinbi, reiterated that the newly acquired state-of-the-art 4 colour web machine boasts advanced features, including variable numbering and barcode capabilities.
“These features enable us to expand our printing services beyond high-quality book printing to include specialized security printing applications, such as examination materials, ballot papers, and other sensitive documents that require precise and secure printing solutions.”
According to her, GPP’s partnership with the Bank of Industry (BOI) has been instrumental in achieving this significant milestone.
“I would like to express my deep appreciation to the President of the Loveworld Nation, Reverend Dr. Chris Oyakhilome, DSC, DSC DD. For one thing, of course, he is the author of Rhapsody of Realities. But I remember about 18 years ago, when we actually considered printing Rhapsody of Realities outside Nigeria, because we’re having very serious problems and challenges printing here. Sometimes they wouldn’t meet up with the timing.

“But Pastor, because of his visionary leadership, gave a word and said, why don’t you set up a press, a printing press for this. And today we have Global Plus Publishing. So I really want to thank Pastor, he is someone that believes very much in Nigeria.
“He believes in the nation, he believes in a lot of people not just believing in Nigeria, but believing in Nigerians, and believing that we can solve our own challenges, we can solve our own problems, we can; and the pastor said something that really pushed us into the reach out world campaigns. He said no one will build Nigeria for us, Nigeria will be built by Nigerians.
“We’re grateful for the impact that GPP has made because of the impact of the Word of God. Pastor Sade told us the Rhapsody of Realities is the number one book, printed, published by GPP.
“Rhapsody of Realities is the most translated book in the whole world and is available in 8,123 languages and for over 4000 dialects. I can tell you boldly that there is no language in this world, they don’t have Rhapsody of and so for GPP to be the foremost publisher of such material, it means there’s a lot of grace in the company, and we’re grateful to God.
In her remarks, Managing Director of GPP, Pastor Sade Imoagene, expressed her appreciation to FCMB and its Managing Director, Yemisi Edun and Comrade Babajide Salako, the President Chartered Institute of Professional printers of Nigeria (CIPPON).
“I cannot continue without honoring and acknowledging my man of God. Reverend Dr. Chris oyakhilome. DSC, DSC DD. Thank you so much, sir, for your most inspiring and visionary leadership.

“I particularly want to thank you for your ideologies of expansionism, exceptionalism and perfectionism, that I have imbibed, and has brought us to this day, thank you, sir, for raising me, and thank you for the vision that you have given to us with regards to Global Plus Publishing.
“Today, we celebrate a significant milestone in our journey. As the foremost and preferred printing press, not only within this country, but beyond the shores of Nigeria. The capacity expansion with the addition of the web that we are launching is a major leap forward in our business positioning.
“We took the bold step to acquire a mirror set of machines. Not long after we took on that endeavor, the economy became shaky, somewhat like what we’re experiencing right now in Nigeria, the dollar started rising, we had acquired our equipment with $1 line, suddenly, the dollar became haywire; the terrain was murky, but the BOI, through their intervention fund, came to our rescue as far back as 2010.
In his own comment, Managing Director/CEO of Bank of Industry Limited, Dr. Olasupo Olusi, said he valued the strong relationship built with GlobalPlus Publishing Limited, and we are very grateful for the opportunity to support GPP publishing endeavors.
“Your contributions to the industry are invaluable, and we are honored to be a part of your success.
“As you continue to inspire readers and authors alike with your innovative publications, please know that we are here to provide any assistance you may need within our purview. Thank you for choosing us as your partner, and we look forward to many more years of collaboration and mutual success.
In her remark, MD/CEO of FCMB, Yemisi Edun said her bank partnership with GPP has always been fruitful.
“We at FCMB, we always believe in good character, and track records of our customers. And we saw over the years that the owners of GPP had displayed this. So without any gainsaying we said, this is a project that we have to support. And we don’t mind taking that credit risk on ourselves because they have been very credible people.
“I am glad that I am here to congratulate you, personally, well done for all the work you’re doing. Well done for the vision, well done for the innovation, well done for bringing hope. Continue to bring hope to Nigeria that Nigeria will be great.
“Again, thank you for believing and showing people that it can be done. Thank you for creating job opportunities, because this will also create even more job opportunities for us in Nigeria at FCMB. We keep supporting businesses like this. So, we shall continue to foster the inclusiveness and sustainable growth in these communities that we serve. We believe that as we partner together, we will be able to take Nigeria to greater heights again.
