Gunmen kidnap Priest, two others in Abia
The police in Abia State had revealed that unknown gunmen kidnapped a priest identified as a Prelate of the Methodist Church of Nigeria, Dr. Samuel Uche, in Abia State. The priest was said to be kidnapped together two other victims identified as the Bishop of Methodist Church, Owerri Diocese, and the prelate’s chaplain.
The gunmen were said to have kidnapped the victims at about 2.00pm while they were returning from a church event in Okigwe, Imo State, to Isuochi in Umu Nneochi Local Government Area, Abia State.
