It’s no longer a news that Security Agents from the Imo State Police Command on Sunday stormed the St. Peters Anglican Church in Eziama Obieri, Nkwerre Local Government Area of Imo State and arrested the 2019 Governorship Candidate of the Action Alliance (AA) in the State, Chief Uche Nwosu.

The Arrest of Nwosu who is a Son-in-law to the immediate past Governor of the Imo State, Rochas Okorocha led to exchange of words between Okorocha and the Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodinma.
However, the Imo State Governor warned Okorocha to stop blaming him for his Son-in-law’s ordeal. Uzodinma who spoke through his Commissioner for Information, Declean Emelumba made 2 major revelations about the Ex-Governor, Rochas Okorocha.
Rochas Okorocha
1. Okorocha Should Know That The Police Has The Right To Arrest Anybody, Therefore He Should Allow Them To Do Their Job.
Emelumba stated that Rochas Okorocha should allow the Police to do their Job. He also added that neither the Ex-Governor nor his Son-in-law is above the law. The Commissioner denied the accusation made by Okorocha that Governor Uzodinma was responsible for the Arrest of Ugumba Uche Nwosu.
2. He Accused Okorocha of Looting Imo State Treasury
The Governor’s aide also accused Senator Okorocha of looting Imo State Treasury when he governed the State between 2011 and 2019. He said Okorocha built a University with Government Funds but later converted it to personal use, he added that the Governor Uzodinma-led Administration has been able to recover it from him (Okorocha).
