Lagos4Lagos sets up committee to integrate members into PDP.
The Lagos4Lagos Movement, has set up a committee for full integration of its members into the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Lagos State.
ILead Visioner of the movement, Dr Abdul-Azeez Adediran, said committee would assist in harmonising and aggregating all interests of the group in PDP for the 2023 general elections.
The Lagos4Lagos movement, a splinter group from the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos state officially declared for the PDP in the state on Jan. 21.
Adediran, in a statement in Lagos by his Press Secretary, Mr Kazeem Bakare, said the committee committee named “Contact and Integration” was saddled with the task of ensuring a seamless integration of Lagos4Lagos members into the PDP across the 245 wards and 20 Local Government Areas of the state.
He said: “members of the committee will put modalities in place for a planned local government tour across the 20 LGAs next week.
“The 14-member committee, comprising of existing PDP members and Lagos4Lagos PDP members will work assiduously to fast track the integration process.
Adediran, said members of the contact and integration committee included: Deji Wellington as Chairman, Funke Ijayekunle,Organising Secretary; Khairat Ojikutu-Shokoya, Secretary; Chief Fatai Shodimu, and Mr Tajudeen Aremu
Other members are; Bode Makinde; Mr Muda Fasasi; Mr Aderemi Adesina; Mr Yesiru Babatunde; Mr Adio Arobieke; Mr Taiwo Adekogbe; Pastor Patrick Madu and Alhaja Idera Adeyemi
Speaking on behalf of the committee, the chairman, Wellington promised to work with other members of the committee to achieve the desired result.
