Manchester City’s Matheus Nunes arrested in Madrid after alleged phone theft

Nunes, who was previously linked with a summer move to Atletico Madrid but remained at Manchester City, was detained by police and taken to a station, where he was released after giving a statement.
He now awaits legal action from a judge.
Nunes joined Manchester City from Wolves two years ago for €62 million but has primarily been a rotational player under Pep Guardiola. With Rodri Hernandez sidelined for the season, Nunes might have more playing opportunities, though this incident may strain his relationship with Guardiola, who values strict discipline.
