Minister eulogizes late Captain Okunbo
Minister of State for Budget and National Planning, Prince Clem Ikanade Agba, like many other highly placed Nigerians has eulogized late business magnate, Captain ‘Hosa Wells Okunbo.
Speaking at the reception put together by the children of the late Captain Hosa Okunbo in Benin City on Saturday, Agba a former Edo State Commissioner for Environment and Public Utilities, said the deceased lived his life in service of humanity.
He said one could own everything in the world but without impacting on the lives of those who could not reciprocate one’s kind gestures, such acquisition was worthless.
“He (Captain ‘Hosa Okunbo) was a good man, a lover of people and he has done much for quite a lot of people. Like I have said to some others, he believed that service should be to humanity and that is the best legacy anyone can ever give.

“You can build all the houses in the world; you can buy all the shares in the world and when you are unable to touch people especially those who cannot give you back, you have really lost it in life and that is why you see the way he is being celebrated.”
He said: “Captain ‘Hosa left legacies and we can only pray for the family that God, in His infinite mercy, to continue to protect and guard them, grant him eternal rest in His bosom.”
Okunbo, popularly known as Captain Hosa, an indigene of Benin, who was born on January 7, 1958, passed on in a London hospital at 63 on August 8, after battling pancreatic cancer, with his body flown into the Edo State capital on Friday.
