Monday Okpebholo sworn-in as Edo Governor
Senator Monday Okpebholo has been sworn-in as Governor of Edo State. The administration of oath of office and oath of allegiance was performed in Benin City on Tuesday.
Vice President Kashim Shettima represented President Bola Tinubu at the inauguration of the new Edo State governor.

The inauguration was also witnessed by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State, Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun STate, Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State, and others.
The tenure of former Governor Godwin Obaseki ends today as Okpebholo assumes office.
