Muritala Mohammed Airport workers muscle out aircraft from mud
Airport workers had a tough time manually digging out an aircraft that careened off the runway, and got bogged down in mud at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Ikeja, Lagos, on Thursday.
It was not a major incident, though as no injuries or any form of wreck was recorded.
Footage from the scene shows airport workers shoveling to get the wheel out of the rut.
The aircraft belongs to the Ethiopian Airlines.
According to reports, authorities are investigating what led to the incident.
