New FRSC Sector Commander deployed to Osun
A new Sector Commander, Taofeeq Sokunbi has been deployed to the Federal Road Safety Corps, Osun Sector Command.
This is contained in a statement by the command’s spokesperson, Agnes Ogungbemi,on Thursday in Osogbo.
The deployment of the new Commander is sequel to the re-deployment of Inyang Umoh who was the former Sector Commander in the state.
Ogungbemi said Sokunbi was enlisted into FRSC in 1996 as an Assistant Route Commander and was posted to Ogoja unit Command as the Unit Public Enlightenment Officer and also a patrol officer.
She said the new sector commander was later posted to Jigawa Command from 1997 to 2004 and served as SPEO and Duty Room Officer.
”He was the Staff Zonal Data Centre at Lokoja and Ilorin before being posted again to ABA Information Processing Center (IPC).”

According to her, “Sokunbi was born in Ebute Metta, Lagos State into the family of High Chief Kolawole and Madam Funmilayo Sokunbi on July 22, 1970.
”He hails from Abeokuta South Local Government area of Ogun.
”He attended Shiloh primary school before proceeding to Vetland Grammar School, Agege, Lagos State.”
Ogungbemi, however, said the new Sector Commander had his first Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communications from Joseph Ayo-Babalola University, lkeji Arakeji in Osun State.
