Nnamdi Kanu opens up on ESN targets in Igboland
Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu has opened up on the activities of the Eastern Security Network in the Southeast, stating that the ESN is not after security agents in the country.
In a statement on Tuesday, Kanu disclosed that the security network was set up to tackle the activities of ‘Terrorists’ in the South-East. He added that the sole purpose of ESN was to checkmate the activities of bandits and herdsmen in the region.

He said; “I want to make this clear: #ESN is not after security agents. #ESN is focused on stopping terrorists who are rampaging our communities!”
“The sole duty of the #ESN is to resist the attacks of the terrorists, bandits and herdsmen against #Biafran. ESN was created in response to the shameful failure of South-East governors to float a regional security outfit.”
“There’s no way #IPOB would fold its hands and watch terrorists with an evil agenda decimate our communities while the government maintains criminal silence!”.
