The Vice-Presidential candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Bishop Isaac Idahosa, on Saturday lamented that the greatest achievement of Nigeria is remaining an indivisible entity 62 years after independence.

Idahosa, in a statement in Abuja on Saturday to mark the 62nd independence anniversary of the country, noted that Nigeria, having survived some of her darkest phases in her history, had remained an Indivisible and stronger entity, saying that “this remains one of the country’s greatest achievement.”

Idahosa decried that the country is still far from where the founding fathers of Nigeria desired when they envisioned and clamored for Independence.

The NNPP vice presidential candidate, however, said that all hopes are not lost, adding that the 2023 general elections offer the country another opportunity to elect a leader that would take Nigeria to her desired height.

Idahosa stated, “We are thanking God for Nigeria at 62, mainly because we have remained as one indivisible entity, despite all odds and the hurdles the country has been through.”

He reiterated that remaining one big nation, is the greatest achievement at 62, despite several prediction of severance by nay sayers.

Idahosa emphasized that  the clamour of Nigerians for Rabiu Kwankwaso, NNPP presidneitla candidate to lead  a new Nigeria where every sector would remain functional and the dividends of democracy would be  delivered is achievable.

He assured Nigerians that Kwankwaso and the NNPP would reinvent the wheels of the country.

Bishop Idahosa promised  that the NNPP presidential candidate would give every Nigerian a sense of inclusiveness when voted in 2023.

According to him, “Kwankwaso is not your regular politician, who says what he will not do. As a matter of fact, his action speaks more volume than he says.”
