Nollywood actress, Remi Surutu, loses daughter

A Yoruba speaking genre in Nollywood, Remi Oshodi, popularly known as Remi Surutu has been thrown into mourning over the loss of her first daughter to the cold hands of death.

Another Nollywood Actor, Yomi Fabiyi, revealed the sad news on a post he shared on instagram earlier today. He wrote: “Rest in Peace Ayo. May God grant your mum @realremisurutu the strength to bear this loss. She did all she can, omg! Aunty Remi, please take heart. Seeing your lifeless body now caused me more pain and it’s because I value the friendship we shared. Journey well. In serious pain now.”

It was narrated that Remi’s daughter who has been battling with sickle cell anaemia died as a result of complications from the condition. Meanwhile, Remi’s last instagram post talked about praying for God’s favour on children.
