OFFICIAL: Finally, Manchester United confirm first signing under new manager
It has been a frenzy moment at Old Trafford as United fans across the globe have remained eager to see how their club respond in the transfer market to sustain their rebuilding process after series of abysmal seasons.
However, the process of their relief may have begun after the club confirmed a deal to bring Feyenoord defender to Old Trafford in a deal worth £13million.
It is understood that Tyrell Malacia has become the first signing of the Erik ten Hag era at Manchester United.
The 22-year-old has completed his medical and is now set to join up with his new teammates ahead of United’s pre-season tour, with squad jetting out on Friday for friendly fixtures in Asia and Australia National Daily can confirm.
It is believed that Malacia has come in to give a healthy challenge to Luke Shaw for a starting role at left-back with United ready to listen to offers for Alex Telles and Brandon Williams.
He was part of the Feyenoord side that reached the Europa Conference final last season, making 50 appearances in all competitions and contributing five assists.

Ten Hag delighted to finally make first United signing
United hope to bring in one more player before they depart for their pre-season campaign having held advanced talks with Ajax over Lisandro Martinez over the weekend.
Arsenal are also keen to sign the Argentina international but United are hopeful the opportunity to reunite with ten Hag in Manchester can convince the 24-year-old to sign with them.
United also remain in talks with Barcelona over a deal to sign Frenkie de Jong, while the club are still hopeful of signing free agent Christian Eriksen
