Ooni takes new wife from north

The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, has taken another wife in the third marriage since he stepped up the ancient throne.

His newest bride, Mariam Ajibola Anako, is coming after about nine months her predecessor Olori Silekunola Naomi, took a walk.

Ogunwusi’s wedding is trending in a video Moses Olafare, the palace director of media and publicity, posted on social media.

Ife chiefs walked the bride, from Ebira, Kogi, north-central, in to the palace in the video.

While the ex-wife is a prophetess, the new bride is a career woman, an executive of NestOil, an oil and gas concern.
