Osinbajo: Atiku happy crash-landed V.P. is safe
The PDP presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, on Saturday said he was happy on hearing V.P Yemi Osinbajo survived the helicopter crash widely reported on Saturday.
“Dear Vice President @ProfOsinbajo, I just received news of the crash of your helicopter in Kabba, Kogi State. I am happy to note however that all is well with you and your delegation,” Mr Abubakar said Saturday evening in a tweet signed by him.
The chopper crashed as it was touching down at Kabba in Kogi on Saturday, but no injuries were recorded.
Osinbajo, however, continued with his engagements and plans for the day.
President Muhammadu Buhari has ordered an investigation of the accident.
