PDP constitutes 326-member Presidential Campaign Council, appoints Gov Emmanuel chairman, Gov Tambuwal DG
The Peoples Democratic Party has constituted the Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) comprising 326 members for the 2023 elections, appointing Governor Udom Emmanuel of Akwa Ibom State Chairman of the Council and Governor Amina Tambuwal of Sokoto State Director-General, of the National Campaign Management Committee (NCMC).
The National Organising Secretary, Umar Bature, in a statement on Thursday, disclosed that the Council would be inaugurated on September 28 at the International Conference Centre, Abuja.
Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State was appointed Vice-Chairman of the Council (North), and Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State, appointed Vice-Chairman (South).
Chairman of the PDP Board of Trustee, Senator Adolphus Wabba; former Vice President Namadi Sambo, Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State, and other governors were listed among the 314 members of the Council.
