PDP’s Umo Eno wins Akwa Ibom governorship election
The governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Akwa Ibom State, Pastor Umo Eno, on Sunday emerged the winner of the Saturday governorship election in Akwa Ibom State.
The Returning Officer of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Akwa Ibom State, Prof Emmanuel Adigio, announcing the result, declared that Eno had 354,348 votes, defeating Akanimo Udofia of the All Progressives Congress (APC), who had 129,602 votes and Uduakobong of the Labour Party (LP) 4,746 votes.
