Pope Francis suffers knee pain, goes on wheelchair
Pope Francis, 85-years, was wheeled into the Paul VI hall at the Vatican for a meeting of a Catholic organisation of sisters and nuns. The Pope was said to be suffering pain in his knee, making him use a wheelchair to attend a Catholic meeting for the first time on Thursday.
The Pope had an operation on his colon last summer and resorted to use of wheelchair pending when the pain is healed.
Pope Francis was said to be suffering pain in his right knee in the past few months, making him cancel several activities, was said to have struggled to walk in recent days.
