Presidency 2023: Osinbajo declares, informs Buhari
President Yemi Osinbajo has at last formal reveal his intent to contest the 2023 presidential election. National Daily gathered that Vice President Osinbajo has notified President Muhammadu Buhari that he has interest in contesting for the presidential ticket of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in the build up to the 2023 general elections.
Osinbajo has been consulting widely across the country like any other presidential aspirants. The vice president will have to battle the APC national leader, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu; Senate Chief Whip, Orji Uzor Kalu; former Governor of Ebonyi State, Dave Umahi; and others for the APC presidential ticket at the party’s national convention yet to be decided.
