Presidency 2023: Osinbajo gets royal blessings in Ogun
Vice President Yemi Osinbajo on Tuesday received royal blessings from the Akarigbo, the paramount ruler of Remo-land in Ogun State, HRH Babatunde Ajayi, during the VP’s consultative campaign in the state. Oba Ajayi gave his royal blessings, praying for the success of the Vice President in the tussle for the presidential ticket of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
Professor Osinbajo, speaking to the Remo traditional rulers, APC members in Remo, told his audience that he is the best man to be Nigeria’s next President after President Muhammadu Buhari, citing his track-record of experience, patriotism, and the fear of God.
Vice-President Osinbajo, accompanied by Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State, further held a consultative meeting with APC leaders and delegates to the national convention for the election of the party’s presidential candidate. He assured them of his readiness to provide quality leadership for the development of the country.
Governor Abiodun had commended Vice President Osinbajo for his purposeful leadership, declaring his support for Osinbajo.
