Reactions as Shehu Sani stated that Russia had dislodged COVID from western media
Reactions followed Shehu Sani’s statement about Russia and COVID-19, a disease that has been a problem for many countries for some years.
COVID-19 has always been discussed in the Western media, as there was never a day without some news or discussion about the coronavirus, Omicron, its effects on people and the world as a whole, and the vaccine.
However, since the beginning of the crisis between Ukraine and Russia, news about COVID-19 has been reduced as the focus is now more on Russia and Ukraine.
Shehu Sani, former Senator representing Kaduna Central, reacted to this development on his Twitter page, noting that Russia has dislodged reports about COVID-19 from the western media. This statement made by the Senator has generated several mixed reactions from his followers. Many people acknowledged the senator’s views, noting that the news media had shut down discussion about the virus. Some also asked if the Russians were observing COVID-19 safety measures when invading Ukraine.
