Sabinus, Taooma emerge top skit makers in Q2, 2022

Skit makers, Mr. Funny, also known as Sabinus and Taooma, emerged as Instagram’s top skit creators in the second quarter of 2022.

This information was made public in the quarterly insights report released on Monday by the data intelligence and global digital eco-system company Dataleum.

While Mr Funny, the recipient of this year’s AMVCA’s Online Social Content Creators’ Award, took the top spot in the male category for the second quarter for his Instagram skits, Maryam Apaokagi aka Taooma claimed the title in the female category.

Mr. Funny, real name Chukwuemeka Emmanuel, racked about 44 million views on his skits and reels during the reviewed quarter and added more than 800,000 Instagram followers.

Taooma’s skits and reels on Instagram received 24.2 million views, and she concluded the quarter with 4 million followers as opposed to 3.5 million in March 2022.

Also featured are Broda Shaggi, The Cute Abiola, Brainjotter, Lasisi, Realsophy, Kiekie, Ashmusy, and Nons Miraj, among other skit creators.
