Sen. minority leader dumps PDP, guber ambition; risks re-election to senate in new party
Guber aspirant and Sen. Minority Leader Enyinnaya Abaribe dumped his PDP for the APGA Friday morning, and faces slim chances of returning to Senate.
His new party APGA might not get him to victory in the PDP state—Abia.
Abaribe confirmed to reporters that he has joined the party in Umuahia, on Friday, adding he has jettisoned running for Abia State governorship seat.
He said he now seeks re-election to the Senate under APGA come 2023.
