Senator Ovie Omo-Agege nominated for deputy senate president

Senator Ovie Omo-Agege has been nominated for deputy senate president.  His nomination followed the election of Senate Ahmad Lawan as Senate President. The nomination sets the floor ready for election of the deputy senate president by the 107 newly elected senators present at the inauguration of the Ninth National Assembly.

Voting is to commence after other nominations have been made.
