Tyler Perry reveals he is godfather to Meghan and Prince Harry’s daughter, Lilibet

American actor and filmmaker, Tyler Perry, has revealed that he is the godfather of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s daughter, Lilibet Diana.

He made this known in the latter episodes of ‘Harry & Meghan’ docuseries released on Thursday by Netflix.

“They were pretty serious on the phone, I go ‘Okay, what’s going on?’ They said, ‘Well, we would like for you to be Lili’s godfather’, Whoa, I take a minute to take that in and I thought, I would be honoured, I would absolutely be honoured. And I got off the phone, took it all in then I called them back and I go, ‘Hold on a second, does this mean, we have to go over there and do all of that in the church with them and figure all that out? Because I don’t want to do that. Maybe we can do a little private ceremony here and let that be that and if you have to do it there, then it’s okay,'” Perry shared.
