UKRAINE: IPOB’s Kanu threatens rebellion in 48 hours
Kanunta Kanu, a brother of Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the IPOB, has given the federal government a 48-hour ultimatum before it begins armed rebellion against the state like the Ukrainians did.
“Dear @GovNigeria: Let it be clear that 2022 is not 1967. Take a lesson from the Russian-Ukrainian war,” he tweeted on Wednesday.
“If you continue with your aggression in Biafra, men will be on the street of #Biafraland within 48 hours. We have to defend ourselves @FCDOGovUK @StateDept @UKParliament @UN.”
Kanunta’s brother has been in the DSS detention since his rearrest last July.
The separatist leader has resumed facing trial for the terrorism charges the federal government levelled against him.
