Ukraine: Third round of talk ends, hope for ceasefire dims
Ukraine’s negotiator has said talks with Russia aimed at opening humanitarian corridors have yielded some progress on evacuation logistics.
Mykhailo Podolyak however added none of that significantly improves the broader situation.

The two sides will continue talks on a ceasefire, he said in a video statement.
Russian negotiator Vladimir Medinsky said it was too early to speak of any positive outcomes.
“Our expectations from negotiations were not fulfilled. We hope that next time we will be able to take a more significant step forward,” he said in televised remarks.
