Why it is advisable to drink water after sex
When it comes to the passion play, we’re all on the same page. The teases, the foreplay, the use of protection, the feeling of safety… all of this is something we are certain of. But, once you’ve completed the act, do you know what to do next?
Here are some important things to remember after having sex in order to maintain your sexual health
You are not obligated to get out of bed and into the shower immediately. Cleaning yourself gently after sex, on the other hand, can protect men and women from infections of the urinary system (UTIs). Warm water should be used to clean the area surrounding your genitals (not inside). Mild soaps can be used, but they may dry up or aggravate the area if you have sensitive skin or already have an infection. Gently peel back the foreskin of men with foreskin and wash underneath it.
Don’t Be a Douche
Some women believe that after sex, they must clean within their vagina with water or prepared fluids. Douching, on the other hand, can lead to additional illnesses. This is because it disrupts the normal bacteria balance that protects your vaginal health. After sex, the best thing you can do for your vagina is to let it clean itself. Also, keep in mind that a light odor is very natural and may not indicate a problem.
You Should Empty Your Bladder
Bacteria can enter your urethra, the tube that transports pee from your body, during sex. This can make you more susceptible to illness. Those germs are flushed out when you pee. So cuddle up with your sweetheart and then go to the bathroom. If you’re a woman, wipe from the front to the back to prevent bacteria from spreading.
A glass of water should be consumed
Remember to drink water after a roll in the hay since it’s a good idea to pee after a roll in the hay. You’ll urinate more if you stay hydrated, which means more bacteria will be washed out of your system before diseases can flare up.
