Wike is Nigeria’s new face of leadership -Gov. Bala Mohammed
Governor of Bauchi State, Senator Bala Mohammed has described Governor Wike of Rivers state as the new face of leadership in the country and a Governor who has raised the bar of subnational leadership in Nigeria.
Senator Mohammed gave the commendation on Monday during the flag off construction of the Rumuokwurusi-Elimgbu Flyover in Rivers State.
He explained that Governor Wike’s effort to invest heavily in infrastructure and continue to develop the state in his second tenure is rare and is indicative of sincerity of purpose.
He went on to wish Governor Wike is given the opportunity to bring this type of vision to the national level.
The flag-off of the construction of the Rumuokwurusi-Elimgbu 10th flyover project at Tank Junction on the East-West Road has attracted the commendation of the authorities of Obio/Akpor Local Government Area.
Meanwhile, the Rivers State Ministry of Works has ordered the closure of the newly completed Oroabali flyover and all access roads leading to the project.
A statement by the ministry said it “wishes to inform the general public that there will be closure of Oroabali fly-over bridges and all service lanes from Sunday, February 27 to Tuesday, March 1, 2022 for the completion of construction works and commissioning.
