100-level Kwara College of Education student reportedly dies hours to her matriculation
A 100-level student of Kwara College of Education, identified as Aminat Tajudeen, slumped and passed on while receiving lectures.
It was gathered that the tragic incident occurred around 1:30 pm on Wednesday.
The college’s spokesperson, Mrs Abibat Zubair confirmed the student’s sudden d£ath on Thursday and said she was preparing for a semester examination when she breathed her last.
The student was reported to have collected her matriculation gown on Wednesday in preparation for Thursday’s ceremony when she sl¥mped.
Aminat was immediately rushed to the General Hospital in Ilorin but was pronounced d£ad on arrival. Zubair said the lady was mourned during the matriculation on Thursday. The student has since been buried according to Islamic rites.
