12th African games Shooting Sports holds trials

Pursuant to Team Nigeria’s preparations keydates for the 12th African Games in Rabat, Morocco, the Nigerian Shooting Sports Federation, NSSF, will commence its open trials for individual shooters from 27th to 28th June, 2019, at the Nigerian National Shooting Range, Package B, National Stadium Complex, Abuja.
National Daily learnt that the trials days, doping tests will be carried out on individual athlete at the trials venue to ensure World Anti-Doping Agency’s(WADA’s) compliance.
After the two-days’ trials, the best eight(8) shooters will be selected for further camping on 5th July, 2019, for the Rabat African Games.
The 12th African Games will take place in Rabat and Casablanca, Morocco from 19 -31 August, 2019.
Morocco which is ranked the fifth largest economy in Africa was selected to replace Malabo, Equatorial Guinea, as the host of the 2019 edition in July 2018.
