1st president Muhammadu Buhari National Youth Open Water Swimming Competition
The inaugural edition of the president Muhammadu Buhari National Youth Open Water Swimming Competition has been slated to take place at the Jabi lake, FCT, Abuja.
National Daily learnt that Nigeria Aquatics Federation,indicates that the competition billed to start on the 30th of November will end on Tuesday 4th December, 2018.
The competition will be in two different Categories. the Junior Category which will allow Boys / Girls between the ages of 14 years to 19 years, and the Senior Category that will accommodate young Men/Women age 20 years to 39years.
The statement further explains that this years competition will be used to select Swimmers who will represent Nigeria at various FINA international Open Water Competitions.
All state Swimming /Aquatics Associations, State sports councils without Swimming Association, Swimming Clubs and Affiliated University Swimming Clubs are hereby invited to participate in the competition
