2 Things FFK may likely do towards the 2023 poll
Judging from his recent defection to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and his overall political demeanor in recent time, former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode may likely undertake certain tasks, especially towards the 2023 poll to further boost his political career which in some opinion, has been largely dormant in recent time. Nevertheless, what are these things FFK may do towards 2023?
Among others, these two (2) below remain rather likely;
1. He may compete for the APC 2023 presidential ticket
In some quarters, there is the believe that FFK’s recent political behavior and association may be geared towards his ambition to run for the 2023 presidency. Although he may not have expressed his interest in the top position yet, the possibility cannot be fully waved off at the moment. With the presidential ticket likely to be zoned to the southern region within APC, the former Minister of Aviation could stand a chance at getting the party’s ticket, especially considering his rather good relationship with many of the party’s top stakeholders. However, judging from the criticisms that have followed his defection to the APC, contesting for the 2023 presidency may be an almost ill advised decision for the former PDP chieftain.
2. He may be heavily involved in Governor Yahaya Bello’s bid for the 2023 presidency
Already, some persons have described FFK as a potential running mate to Governor Yahaya Bello towards the 2023 presidency. However, while the above may be unlikely at the moment, the possibility of FFK supporting the Governor’s 2023 presidency ambition remains high at the moment. Considering the close relationship between the two and FFK’s positivity towards Bello’s presidency, it is almost certain that the former Minister of Aviation may be one of the politicians, the Governor may rely on to win the APC presidential ticket towards the 2023 poll.
What are your thoughts on this? Which of these things do you think FFK may likely do towards 2023?
