Nigerian Army loses Chief of Training & Operations in road accident

Nigerian Army has announced the sudden death of Chief of Training and Operations, Maj Gen Yusha’u Mahmood Abubakar, in road accident on Tuesday along Maiduguri- Damaturu road.
He was in the company of the Acting General Officer Commanding (GOC) 3 Division, Brig Gen MSA Aliyu, who was said to have sustained serious injuries but receiving treatment in an undisclosed hospital.

The Army spokesperson, Col Sani Usman on his facebook wall announced the sudden death but didn’t disclose the cause of the accident. He said full details of what transpired would be released later.
This is the second time within four days the country is losing high profile government officer in road accident.
The Minister of State for Labour, Mr Ocholi lost his life along with his wife and a son in Kaduna at the weekend.
