2023: PANDEF leader Clark speaks on Tinubu, Osinbajo, Jonathan
Edwin Clark has promised to vote for V.P Yemi Osinbajo instead of APC national leader Bola Tinubu, two aspirants and allies the southwest might produce in case the southeast bid for presidency fails.
Featuring on Arise TV Thursday, the elder statesman and leader of PANDEF said Osinbajo is an intelligent man who has what it takes to rule Nigeria in 2023.
“The southwest is the most educated and sophisticated people in Nigeria, but Tinubu should go and rest. Other than the Igbos, I would vote for the Vice President; he is an intelligent fellow.
“How many times have we heard Tinubu talking about the affairs of this nation or criticizing those in power?”
Tinubu has been out consulting after he declared his intention for the 2023 presidency, but Osinbajo has not made up his mind, and denied planning to do so.
Clark also commented on ex-President Goodluck Jonathan and his intention to join the ruling APC for the presidential race.
“I’m not aware of Jonathan running for presidency. I’m a father to him and he has not informed me about such intentions,” he said.
