SARS kills student in Iwo; youth set station on fire
Irate youths in Iwo, Osun , have set a police station ablaze for the alleged shooting of an undergraduate by an officer attached to the Special Anti Robbery Squad.
Tunde Nofiu was said to be spending holidays in the town.
He was going to Iwo from Olupona Thursday night when he was shot dead.
The angry youth torched the police station on Friday morning.
The extra-judicial killing by the state’s SARS was comning nit too long after the unit was re-organised by IGP Ibrahim Idris.
