Sports Minister promises to partner with MOC
The Minister of Youths and Sports Development, Hon. Sunday Dare who was in Lagos on a working visit, has indicated that the Ministry of Youths and Sports Development will partner with Making of Champions initiative. He stated this via a tweet on his Twitter Handle.
The Minister tweeted;
“At a different level, I dropped by the Teslim Balogun Stadium today to see the brain behind Making of Champions, Bambo, and his young athletes. MOC with 30 athletes under its initiative and 3 young Olympic hopefuls is a private model that must be replicated. MYSD will partner.”
In another tweet he continued;
“I met the three athletes from Making of Champions who represented Nigeria at the African Games last month in Morocco and won medals. Their names are Joy Udo-Gabriel, Blessing Oladoye and Emmanuel Ojeli.”
Making of Champions Limited is a Sports Media & Management Company which serves to elevate the profile and performance of sports in Nigeria and the rest of Africa. The company’s Project Tokyo, aims to produce athletes who will make the country a dominant force in World Athletics by the 2020 Olympics.
