Ijaw Leaders Forum endorses PDP Gov candidate in Bayelsa
The Ijaw Leaders Forum, on Tuesday endorsed the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Senator Douye Diri for the November 16 election in Bayela State. The Forum emphasised that the PDP governorship candidate is a seasoned administrator with requisite pedigree and manifesto to promote job creation and equitable wealth distribution in Bayelsa State.
Timi Kaizer Ogoriba and members of the Ijaw Leaders Forum were said to have appealed to the people of Bayelsa State to move with the digital age of growth and development Senator Douye Diri has promised.
The group was of the view that the endorsement of the PDP governorship candidate demonstrated the popular choice of the Izon nation, appealing for mass support for the PDP.
