Federal rep member, Nyampa, gets accolade from constituent

The member representing Michika/Madagali federal constituency of Adamawa State, at the National Assembly, Hon. Zacharia Nyampa has attracted accolades from people of his constituents for the giant strides of effective representation.

Hon. Nyampa is said to have repositioned the plight of his people by initiating bills that will better address the challenges faced in his constituent, stakeholders of both Muslims and Christians have said.

Leaders of both Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) and Muslim Council as well as widows and the vulnerable in Madagali Local Government Area of Adamawa State, in an interview with our correspondent said that the lawmaker has demonstrated commitment through the provision of essentials to the benefit of all.

CAN Chairman Rev. Bulus Peter said the donation of an ambulance by the lawmaker has gone a long way in alleviating the difficulty hitherto faced in rushing victims of insurgents attacks to health facilities.

“The donation of palliatives to his constituents to assist the less privileged members of the constituency during the COVID-19 pandemic and regular interface with the people has further demonstrated that the federal lawmaker has his people at heart”, Peter said.

Also speaking, Secretary of the Muslim Council in Madagali LGA, Mallam Umar Isa reiterated that Nyampa has so far demonstrated competence in representation by voicing out for the people.

Also lending her voice, the leader of the orphans and physically challenged persons in the area, Mrs. Cecilia Sani collaborated that the Michika-born legislator has shown capacity, maturity and strength in the discharge of his duties, even as the constituency was ravaged by Boko Haram where some of the people are still living in Internally Displaced Persons, IDPs camps in some parts of the country.

“Hon. Nyampa is a gentle man. He cares and goes about helping the needy and physically challenged without making notice about it. He loves everyone irrespective of religion, tribe and cutting across political parties in his constituency” she said.
