“Make this day that the spirit of the land shall continue to work against IPOB Nnamdi Kanu”—IPOB’s ex deputy leader
IPOB’s former deputy leader Uche Mefor has accused Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the group, of “sacrilege and abomination”.
And he has sworn the spirits of the Igbo people IPOB beheaded-a abomination—under Kanu’s watch will work against the secessionist leader.
“The lies and the subsequent beheading of Igbos by IPOB Nnamdi Kanu is an abomination too many,” Mefor wrote on Facebook on the weekend.
“The pretence and the sweeping of this heinous crime under the carpet by those who should know better is all the more troubling and dangerously presents a gloomy picture of where our society is headed to.
“The foundation of our freedom cannot be made on human sacrifice and the deliberate spilling of the blood of our own.
“Make this day that the spirit of the land shall continue to work against IPOB Nnamdi Kanu until Kanu makes amends and atones for the sacrilege/abomination.”
But IPOB’s spokesman, Emma Powerful, dismissed Mefor’s claim, saying Mefor is no longer a member of IPOB.
“We don’t know Uche Mefor, it’s his personal opinion and we have nothing to say about that.”
In their quest for Biafra, IPOB has a way of dealing with their kinsmen, politicians, community leaders, and others they believe betray them to Nigeria’s security agencies during confrontations.
“I am under their fatwa now and some of my brother governors. They say if you see them kill them,” Abia Gov Okezie Ikpeazu said why condemning the bloody onslaught of IPOB in July.
