Saraki’s secret plot to grab PDP presidential ticket exposed
Build up to the 2023 presidential election which is less than 2 years from now is becoming interesting especially in the opposition PDP which is keen on winning the 2023 presidential election.
Two former Senate Presidents of Nigeria, David Mark and Bukola Saraki are doing everything possible to ensure that the Middle Belt takes advantage of developments in PDP.
Meanwhile, Bukola Saraki’s secret plot to grab the presidential ticket of the PDP has been exposed by a close associate who believes that he cannot be underrated ahead of 2023.
The former Kwara State Governor has leveraged the reconciliation committee which he headed to pitch himself to key members of the PDP across the country.

It was learnt that Saraki has reached out to aggrieved members of the ruling party who will soon join the PDP and these politicians are encouraging him not to give up despite how difficult it may look.
It appears Saraki also has a plan B and that is why he is seriously backing David Mark to emerge as the National Chairman of the PDP.
In an event where the PDP final zones its Presidential ticket to the North, David Mark who is likely to emerge as PDP National Chairman won’t find it difficult to step down for a Southerner to take over.
He will support Saraki with the influence he has already gathered in the party.
Plan B, according to sources, is that Mark and Saraki who are from the Middle Belt believe that PDP may prefer someone from the Middle Belt who is not a core Northerner to stand as a bridge between the South and core North in 2023 and lead the party to victory.
