ENDSARS: Pushing, shoving begins at Lekki toll gate
Protesters who defied police ban on outdoor commemoration of the October Endsar protest gathered at the Lekki Toll Plaza, and were being arrested as quickly as possible.
Among those already cooped up was Okechukwu Peter.
“Remember those that were killed last year”, he shouted as officers took him away.
Another man dressed in green and red was thrown inside a Black Maria.
He earlier complained that the police were suppressing the right of Nigerians to demonstrate.
There has been no report of violence so far.
