Dangote embarks on final journey after losing to cancer
The remains of Sani Dangote, the brother of Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote, have been buried in Kano.
His body arrived Kano state from the US Wednesday morning, and was received by his family members and friends.
Thereafter, a funeral prayer took place at the Emir of Kano’s palace before his body was later buried according to Islamic rites.
Among the dignitaries at the funeral include Senate President Ahmed Lawal, Bukola Saraki, Femi Otedola, and many others
Sani died on Sunday, November 14 in the US while undergoing treatment for colon cancer.
Until his death, Sani the vice-president of Dangote Group.
