Reason Davido wants part of N250M donation given to Paroche Foundation revealed
The reason singer Davido (David Adeleke) wants Paroche Foundation included in the list of beneficiaries of the N250Million donation he wants to be disbursed as part of his birthday donation has emerged.
Yinka “Omo Eko Pataki” made the revelation on his social media page.
The Revelation reads…
“Thank you @davido for this donation.
Let me tell you all a story about a Lagos Legend called “PAROCHE”
When I was called to give a memorial speech at Paroche’s funeral service, I had to close my eyes as I spoke into the mic .
That was the only way I could speak about Taiwo . I had to use that to remember the good times we had .
When I was having my first solo exhibition at the Civic Centre in 2009 , Taiwo insisted it had to be up to New York exhibition standard , Champagne and all . Nothing less , not withstanding he was just starting his first job at Folawiyo Oil .
For my 35th birthday , Paroche wrote the cheque for the drinks .
He loved people.
“It was Taiwo “Paroche “ Adebayo that introduced Davido to me and my friends in 2011 as a superstar in the making.
It was Paroche that told us he was going to go global . It was Paroche that brought the “Omo Baba Olowo “ CD to play for us in January 2012.

Selfless Paroche: Paroche carried other peoples projects on his own head and didn’t even bother about his own .
Whenever I asked him , he would say to me “Baba , if all of una don make am , me I don make am be that now” .
His biggest projects were Davido Superstar and TTDALK FASHION . He never stopped talking about those two brands
It is so heart warming to see his mum Mrs Titi Adebayo designated Chairman of the committee to supervise the disbursement of the funds donated to orphanages in Nigeria based on the birthday N200MILLION fund raise by @davido
As well as a significant donation to the Paroche Reach Out Foundation which promotes anti-drug use in Young Nigerians dedicated to his memory .
My friend Oluwaseyi “Paroche” Adebayo continue to Rest In Peace .
I miss you terribly”
Davido requested donations of N1million gifts from his friends as part of his birthday celebration.
He ended up getting N201Million and added N50Million to make N251million to be given to orphanages and foundations across the country.
The Singer announced a 5-man panel to disburse the fund.
