Fresh attack on Kaduna community leaves 11 persons dead
Barely weeks after several people were killed and hundreds of properties destroyed in Kaduna, suspected Fulani militias have again attacked another community in the state, killing about 11 persons.
The fresh attack was carried on Kagoro community and its environs by suspected Fulani militia in the Kaura Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
A source from the area said that the attackers stormed Kagoro in the early hours of Sunday and kept on attacking every day, unleashing their evil intention of killing and burning houses.
He said, “Besides those that have been confirmed killed by the attackers, l cannot give you the number of those injured because people take their injured relatives to hospital for treatment.”

He added that about 50 houses were razed by the attackers, adding that it was massive destruction meted on the people by the suspected Fulani militia.
The source noted that the present situation is calm as people and vehicles are moving freely.
He explained that as usual, security men are moving around the area to ensure sustainable peace and avert any unforeseen attack.
When contacted to confirm the incident, the state Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Mohammed Jalige, promised to contact the Kafanchan Area Commander and get more information but he was yet to do so at the time of filing this report.
