Nigerian women sustain protest of gender discrimination in NASS constitutional amendment bills
Nigerian women have sustained their protest at the National Assembly of the rejected Gender Bill by both the House of Representatives and the Senate. The protesting women insist on restoring the political rights of the female gender in the country. They berate the National Assembly members of perceived hatred against women. The women insist on review of the decisions that excluded women political considerations in the constitution amendment resolutions of the two chambers of the National Assembly.

The national Assembly rejected all gender bills proposed in the constitution amendment.
Female members of the House of Representatives had on Thursday boycotted the plenary session of the house on Thursday after the voting on the amendment of the constitution on Wednesday where the two chambers of the National Assembly rejected all gender bills empowering female participation in politics and governance.
