Soldiers kill four kidnappers in Bauchi

Four kidnappers were on Tuesday killed by the military during a gun exchange as the kidnappers were on their way to Diwwa village for kidnapping activities.
The operation carried out by troops of 33 Brigade Forward Operations Base, Burra, Bauchi State worked on intelligence report by some concerned citizens.
It was learnt that the soldiers had laid an ambush for suspected kidnappers from Sabon Kura village, Ningi Local Government Area and succeeded in killing four in the process.
Items recovered from the suspected kidnappers include three dane guns, one cutlass, three mobile telephone handsets, some quantity of hard drugs and local charms.
Colonel Sani Kukasheka Usman, Acting Director Army Public Relations added that they would not stop until the kidnappers are blighted out across the country.
