Ukraine reveals the total amount of its facilities that have been destroyed by Russians occupiers
According to a news that was published by Aljazeera News Online yesterday, it was reported that Ukraine’s Parliament has revealed the total amount of their infrastructures that have been damaged by Russian occupiers who have been attacking their country since last month and causing casualties.
According to what the parliament said in a Twitter post yesterday evening, it was estimated that there has been $63bn damage to the country’s infrastructure as of March 24 and that, they want to be compensated from Russia’s foreign reserve.
t was made known that the cost was calculated by the Kyiv School of Economics, while the damaged facilities were being broken down, it was made known that Russians destroyed 4,431 residential buildings, 138 healthcare facilities, eight civilian airports, 378 education institutions, 92 enterprises and 11 shopping malls.
The Parliament has demanded that reparations be paid to Ukraine using the frozen reserves of Russia’s central bank.
